engine vibration, miss..............help please

well i have eliminated alot since the last time i have post about it. I know it is the engine not tranny or flex plate/torque converter. I have also changed the balancer, plugs, wires, distibutor. I checked timing and besides a little flux it is on 6 deg btc. The timing chain is 1 year old and a double roller. The compression on all is between 135-145 psi. I have tried to pull the inctectors to see if any of them drop more than the other, with little change. I need a direction before i tear into the motor. It has been suggested the one of the springs is toast or a bent push rods..... Please point me in the right direction thnx THE SHAGGY( THOUGH NOW DEFUNCT) IROC

no codes? i'd check fuel pump preasure and volumn, valve springs and push rods, and i'd leak it down.

Mine is acting similar, actually today I noticed it smelled like a lawn mower. It'll stall out while stopping, miss constantly, shake, etc. The thing is I already know what the prob w/ mine is. I have been b*tching and moaning about it for about a week now, my fuel pressure reg is blown. I don't have my pressure gauge down here, so I don't know what the pressure is at now, but when I left PA in january, it was running about 33 PSI or so. If it drops below I think 24, generally the car will not idle.
Now if the IRS will get me my check, I'll fix the thing!

Oh yeah, mine is throwing a code though, O2 sensor, and spark knock.

back again, with an update........ I found out i had 4 bad fuel injectors. So that was the reason for the vibration at 1800 rpm. Now i have a vibration at 1600 rpm. The motor is smooth and the exhaust sounds very smooth, but in side the car the is a resonance. I also seem to have a vibration at 3000 and higher. Again this is all with the motor at temp. Also it is not the trans or T/C, as i have disconnected them and it is still there. I am wondering about fuel pressure? I have the 24 lbs SVO injectors set at 50 psi. Is this important? I don't seem to have any vacuum problems as i just put the whole intake and higher back toghether with new everthing.

Irocnroll89 I think 50 psi is to much with
the 24 svo injectors. That kind of pressure
would be good for a supercharger or a very
very nasty 383 or 400 engine :-))
