EGR doesn't fit with new valve covers!

I put a set of Edelbrock valve covers on but now the EGR valve hits them so I can't get it back on. Will it still work if I put another 1/2'' spacer on it to get it high enough to clear the valve covers? Any other ideas?

Thanks

Another spacer will work fine. You could put it on the back bumper if you want and it would still work
Well, maybe thats a little far, but you get the idea.

Just hit Autozone and get a new EGR valve for like $15... bring your old one and double check that it is a smaller diameter. That is what I did.
