after the blown head gasket at 8000kms it's now put back together using felpro 1003 gaskets and gm intake gaskets. it's running but it was late when we finished so I'll have to wait t'ill tomorrow to do valve adjustments. should I let it run 15 mins before removing valve cover and adjusting?

valves aren't making any noticable noise but iff you put your hand on the pass side valve cover you can feel it. ds is ok. my cousing(he put the heads,intake on) and adjust valves as best he could to zero and told me I would have to have it running and loosen one at a time t'ill it ticks then slowly tighten t'ill it stops and give it an extra 1/2 turn(per edelbrock.)
