Ticking Noise
I have a ticking nosie coming from my computer controlled carb, is this normal? I can make it stop by pulling the connector from the carb, but this also sets a ses light. Any clues on what this might be? could this also cause my car to diesiel, because im having that problem too?

If the engine is off, does the ticking stop about 20 seconds after ignition is turned on? If so, then it's the mixture control solenoid.
Dieseling can be blamed on a fwe things. The first thing to check is your timing. Another thing is, what is the idle speed in park? If it is too high, your engine can also diesel. Those are the 2 more common things.
