ok guys help make a decision
i have 2 plans for my 87 iroc i just dont know what one i want to go with.
the first one is
383 strockere with h beam rods 4130 crank 210 afr heads , a holley stelth ram and a cam to mach. this would be bolted up to my 700r4 and a dfi gen 7
the second plan is a ls1 swap with a cam in the 220 -228 dur rang and this would pbly be bolted up to a 4l60e. i would be using the hawks k member and motor mounts.

that all depends on how much hassle and hp you want... both those combos would make a decent horsepower. but i know with the LS1 swap you would need to change a lot more stuff including the wiring harness...

ok my dad said that oopinions are like a$$ holes every one has one he must have been wrong. i am not looking for some one to help me just tell me what they would have in there car if it it magicly appeard in there one day. and yess i know my spelling sucks
if i had an infinite budget and those were my only two options, i would go with the 383 because there are more aftermarket parts and more easily modded... you can get 383's to make over 400hp and still be streetable for a reasonable cost
