Small Block Cylinder Heads ???
I just bought a set of heads at a swap meet of a 325hp 327, the casting number on the are 3782461X can anyone tell me if these would be a good set of heads to have redone. The are doulble camels with no assesory holes any hel is greatly apppreciated.

You will run into some problems when you try to bolt up your accesorys. They were pretty good heads for the time but head technology has come a long way since then. Youd probably be better off starting with a newer head like the vortecs and getting those reworked.

Aside from the moron term, you'd be ahead of the game selling them. Waay back when they were a great head-when compared to what they had waay bacak then, but as stated above- we've come a long way baby!!
So for sake of sanity of bolting everything back upto the motor acc. wise and a much better performance, lose the fuelie heads and get a newer casting. Nothing wrong with double humps as they can make good power with modifications, but with the mods to get them to be worth a chit, your money ahead buying a new set of vortecs that are more effiecent and flow better. Or if you have the coin any of the Dart, AFR, Brodix, Trick Flow, Motown, etc...will easily be better than the camel backs.
