help with trouble codes.

I had the check engine light come on so I went to check it and nothing happened, the light stayed steady. I pulled codes before so I pretty sure I'm doing everthing right. My first thought was a blown fuse so I checked and replaced it and so codes still won't come.
Please help
Thanks.
