Car: 1986 Iroc

Engine: 305 TPI

Transmission: 700R4

Cold start problem

For awhile now on initial startup of the day my 305 TPI 1986 Iroc has been stumbling. This morning it took me several times to get the engine to start. The rest of the day the car starts right up with no problem, it's just that initlal start. Can anyone help? Thanks

Does it help at all if you press the gas while you start?

Didn't seem to help yesterday. This morning I turned on the key and waited 10 seconds, cranked it and it started fairly quickly. Tomorrow morning I'll try cranking it without waiting to see what happens.
