How do I tell If it is a Coolent leak?
How can I tell if it is a coolent leak? At stop lights I see white smoke coming from my exaust. It smokes alot! I changed my oil last week and I checked it this morning and it is full. What Can I do?

Axle/Gears: 9" ME with 4.56 gears
This is a problem with third gens. Thats all you have to change your valve cover gaskets.

I dont see how that can be even related to valve cover gaskets! Head gaskets, maybe...
Are you losing coolant or oil? Check your levels, and then again 1 week later. One of those will be lower. Then you have the culprit. There are many causes, too many to list, but most commons:
coolant: head gasket problem.
oil: valve SEAL problem. Not a valve cover gasket.
You might have smoke coming from the engine if it were a valve cover gasket problem. That would be due to oil coming out through the valve cover and burning up from the exhaust heat or something.
