well i'm pretty knowledgable on third gen camaros but not on firebirds. i know mechanically there basically the same but my friend wants me to go look at a 89 trans am gta with him. i was just wondering if you could tell me certain things to look for on them. like some stuff that crap's out after years. from what i know its a red hardtop 350 auto. any advice i am sure would help. thank you in advance.

 

Firebirds and Camaros aren't all that different... all the things you'd look for on a Camaro, look for on the Firebird. They all get the same creaks and rattles, they all rust out in the same spots, etc...
