Gear drives are notorious for setting off knock sensors. if you want something hi-tech, use a belt drive instead. The problem with belt drives are price and exposure to everyday road debris. Jesel now has a cover for their belt drive to solve this. Problem is, it is nearly $850.00 for the setup, hardly worth the extra 10HP.

gear drives are really nice but you dont want one on yours because of the problems stated above .....and a belt drive isnt worth the price for a street driven 305 .....go with a good double roller and be happy

Is there away to get rid of it. How would the knock sensor read that?
