maf and 500hp? possible?

Is it possible to run 500n/a with a 355 and still run a MAF setup? Please i need help with this on what to do...motor gets out of machine shop in less than 1 week

Yes, it's possible. You will not have any resolution though, the motor will essensially be running blind at higher demand. Also expect to be doing your own tuning via the PROM.

The MAF system on the thirdgens are only capable of reading up to 255 grams per second. Many mild 383's are maxing this at about 3000 rpm.

Try a search on our DIY-PROM board, should answer a few more questions for ya.

Yes as the above poster has said. Ski-dwn-it? and Corky are making that much horsepower with the MAF still in place. They are both running in the mid 10's in the quarter and with streetable machines. I know they now post on the Corvette Forum but have posted here in the past. Allen
