Yes and No (great reply, huh?), depends how things cuurently are, but you can mask some detonation/preignition with more fuel, but you could also be loosing power as well, by running too rich.

Problem with this, is most likley, only WOT pinging will be affected, part throttle pings will probably still be there.

It's all in the tuning with your mods, as you make changes, read the plugs, to see what's going on in the cylinders, monitor the O2 voltage at the least, or beg/borrow/steal a scanner for the INT and BLM counts, to see what the ECM is trying to do with what it has, and monitor for any knock counts too.

It all depends, these are some of the things you play with while tuning your combo. Some cars like 42 psi and 8º, some 38 psi and 10º some 50 psi and 4º, see what I mean? These are just some variables you use to extract as many ponies as possible from your combo. This is why those that take their sweet time to play with this stuff always go faster.
