90 camaro 305 tbi. code 43-low ESC voltage. tried a map and an IAC but to no avail. the computer also reset itself before i took it in and displayed no codes even though i know it set the code that morning prior...what could it be?

I had this problem briefly when my knock sensor wire got a little too cozy with one of my plug wires. Guess the plug wire was inducing a voltage in the knock sensor circuit or something like that. This one's a pretty easy visual check.

 

where and what color is the knock sensor wire?

 

The knock sensor should be in the passenger side of the block, towards the back. It will have two wires going to it, but I don't know what color they are. Are you getting the code all the time, or just every once in a while? And is the car running bad or do you just have a code?

 

every time it dies i get the code and it runs pretty poorly especially when cold
