Stuttering at steady speed

I am having problems with my car stuttering at a steady speed. When traveling at about 60 on level road it seems to developing a miss.

I havent been driving the car lately, my daughter has, so I don't know how long this has been going on. She broke down and I had to replace the ignition control module. When I drove it home I noticed the problem. Could this be related to the module or should I be looking at something else?

It couldn't hurt to check or change the plugs themselves, either.

Well the plugs, wires, cap and rotor were replaced about 6 months ago but I will check. I was wondering if the ignition module may be the cause (not really sure what it does).

Like I said, my daughter has been driving it so who knows what she has done to it!

I would think that any ignition piece not performing up to par (like your module) could cause spark plug fouling.

Air filter plugged up? Why not try running some fuel system cleaner through it? It might actually be a fuel problem.
