Non-ghetto muffler for 199 Malibu

It is time to replace the muffler on my little Malibu and I want a quality muffler that flows well, but I do not want that annoying bumble fart sound.

Thanks

The below car is now for sale!

Im assuming you ment 1999? And if so .. what motor is in her? If its a v6 id recommend the super turbo by dynomax. I like the way it sounds on 60* v6s.

Probably the best muffler would be a stock replacement.

If you did not notice I said I wanted a quality muffler that flowed well. I am thinking that stock replacement will not cut it.

It is a family car, but she has 110,000 miles on the odo. and I am trying to get the best mileage out of her I can. I am getting 27 right now, with the addition of a less restrictive intake setup, changing the oil every 2000 miles, and using Lucas oil in everything. I also monitor levels and pressures on a weekly basis.

I am usually not this **** about my cars, but it keeps me out of trouble.

Now with that said, does anyone have any suggestions on a QUALITY muffler that FLOWS well and does not sound like a FART CAN.

ljnowell...no more vague advice from you!

Thanks to the others.

Now if I could just figure out the 3rd gen connection...
