If you have the electric hatch pull-down, and you mean that the latch stays in the down position, all you have to do is slam the hatch hard enough so that it'll latch with the latch mechanism in the "down" position.

That happened to me once, and I had to slam it VERY hard.

Search the board (especially in the "electronic" forum) for possible solutions to this problem. It has been covered many times.

The latch sometimes gets in the down position when the hatch is open. You need to trip the switch and it will come up where it belongs. Next to the latch (hook), there should be another small metal strip. Just push it with your car key and the latch will rise. Very little pressure is required.

yea i did that last time, but now it doesnt work, well i got a bungie cord on it for now, ill mess with it tomarrow
