Holley AFPR Assembly ?????
Holley AFPR Assembly ?????
I just received a use Holley AFPR and I have no clue how it goes together.
I've got the main housing, the spring, the rubber seal with a round peice of metal in the middle and a loose round peice of metal with a small hole in it and a lip all around the edge.
How exactly does this go together????
Thanks!

I figured it out by the way the stock one was in there.
The round metal piece with the small hole and flange around the edge goes in the very top under the spring so when you turn it even pressure is applied to the spring.
Thanks!
EDIT: One more thing, for installation I turned the AFPR all the way down and then back 2 full turns, should that be somewhere even close for starting the engine so I can set it?

maybe, maybe not.. whats the pressure at? Hook up your fuel pressure gauge.
Alright, without starting my car I hooked up my guage and set the pressure to exactly 43.5. This took about 15 turns of the key to run the pump waiting about 2-3 minutes in between each attempt. Finally on each of the last three it was @ 43.5psi exactly with the pump running which of course only lasted for about 3-4 seconds then it shuts off because I didn't start the car.
Wierd thing though, for the first 10-12 times doing this, the pressure would build normally, then very slowly go down a couple psi's and stay there without going down much further if any at all. The last 3 times, the pressure dropped rapidly down to about 20psi. Is this normal?
BTW, I also replaced my base manifold and fuel injectors so I imagine it took some time to get all of the air out of the lines. I'll be resetting my IAC before I start it tomorrow then I'll adjust my timing and start tuning my bin for the new parts. I sure as hell hope I don't have any bad injectors in the new set...
