squeaky noise after new transmission install...please help
well I just spent $1390 on a new pro-built street/strip transmission because my pump and my converter went out so I figure it was time to get a new one. (700R4) Anyhow, the reason is because of this loud sqealing noise coming from under the car near the engine compartment. I just dumped $2500 in different engine parts and labor and now I hear this. ANy ideas? Someone suggested that it might be a crank bearing (thrust Bearing) or somone suggested that my new Distributor wasn't installed right. I'm not sure what to think but it only happens when the car gets warmer, like past 180 degrees. The noise fluxuates according to the RPM's of the motor. WHich is why I thought tranny pump or converter, well, it cant be that now. SAME noise, still just as loud. PLUS, the noise disipates as I push down the throttle, then comes back after I let off of the gas. Anyhow if you guys have any suggestions I would be greatful, I have to drive to cali in 2 weeks and I would hate to get stuck in the middle of nowhere. Thank you for any help.

Just to let you know... this squealing was not there before all of this work started...this took the first shop one month to complete...
New Water Pump (Upper and lower Radiator hoses)
New Thermostat housing (180 deg. thermostat) + gasket
New throttle body gasket
Fuel Pump
Fuel Filter
New Starter
New Ignition key cylinder
New Distributor- Autozone reman. (new wires, cap, and plugs)
Repaired Oil Filter housing (was leaking)
New Computer
Recharge A/C
Next Shop---Transmission Repair shop diagnosed Bad pump and Converter so I said replace it with a beefed up tranny (street and Strip)
Completely new internals and bellhousing 700R4 with new 2400 stall vigilante converter and shift kit
Then just tires and wheels just put on 3 days ago.
I am thinking either bearings or a bad distributor bushing, leaning more towards the distributor because my oil pressure is right on. I just had it checked and I just changed the oil to Royal Purple 10-40 with the lucas oil additive. Seems to run considerably smoother after the oil change but still that darn noise. Anyhow, hope that gives a little more insight. And maybe you all could tell me if im started in the right direction for this diagnostic.
Thank you!
