Need opinion on this setup.
Also should I just go ahead and spend the extra $500.00 and get some H-Beams...

 

Ive heard alot of bad things about the street avenger, Rather Not bad things, but un impressed things...


Other than that, sounds like a Good deal, Just be sure to ARP the rod bolts.

matching Valvesprings, ect...

I don't have alot of experiance here, but Those heads may not flow enough For what your looking For, My neighbor has the cast Iron versions, and had to Do extensive porting to get them to flow up to what he wanted, with a smaller Cam.

you might need to pick a different piston with higher compression ratio. unless you are planing on runing nitrous or a forced induction system.

just my thoughts.

 

I have to agree with poncho... you're building for horsepower and forgetting that torque is what gets you moving from a stop.

Your compression ratio will kill you because that big cam is going to bleed off alot of pressure (unless you are planning on using a turbo or supercharger)
