Help Missing sensor

Well I am putting the bottom of the car together today and I pluged in the Torque converter harness to the tranny and I found a two prong plug coming out of that harness and I have no idea where It goes (not the o2 checked that) I can't find anyting else down there and its wires are not long enoughh to get back up to the motor

Thanks again

Sounds like starter safety switch, maybe on the shifter, especially if they're real thick wires

Well the wires are short about 6 to inches. I did install a Megashifter a while back could that be it?? I just can't see anything near the block or the tranny that has any connector (or two prong) I got the Torque converter 4 prong, the o2, the little one on the driver side head that goes into the water passage but now I am lost.....

any other opinion or could it have been a never used plug.

Thanks again......

Brian

Are they thick wires? Could they plug into the shifter area? If so, that's what they are. Yellow = power from the ignition switch START contact, purple = wire that goes to solenoid

NO nothing on the speedo........it has a cable driven one. I am lost but I think the best idea was the neutral safety switch... I have no idea.

Thanks
