anyone had "bad" luck with aluminum radiators?
Specifically, Be-Cool's? I put one of those in 2.5 years ago and it's broke - not repairable... and most of us know what they cost... Lesson learned, I guess. Going back to a "stock" radiator...

Well, I doubt this has alot to do with your particuluar situation, But I was reminded of it reading your post...
Something alot of people fail to realize, is that parts that are made for performance, are not usually made for reliabilty as well.
"Race" Radiators, water pumps, ECT, while they may perform exceptionally well, They normally don't last Long. In a Racecar, If your radiator lasted thourgh the 10-20,000 Miles you may drive in two and a Half years on the street, You would never have to replace it. Same goes for "high performanc gaskets" and the LIke.
Now, of course there are exceptions, but This is Just something to keep in Mind< when It says "Not recommended for street use", Its not always because of emissions, driveability, or it will make your car too fast...
