CFI to Carb

how hard would it be to switch the CFI over to a carb setup. i don't like the CFI and would like to use carb, what all do i need, how expensive/difficult would it be?? any suggestions on carbs/intakes would be helpful.

To swap you'll need a carb, FP regulator, new ditributor (mechanical), and an intake. Then you'll need to tinker and tune; throttle cable bracket, jetting, timing, etc.

FWIW, you can support over 300 hp w/the CFI intake by porting it...all for the cost of a plenum lid gasket and intake gaskets. It's an increadible bang-for-the-buck imporvement that CFI offers simply because the manifold in stock form is so bad. I personally advocate doing that, as you retain the advantages of EFI. JMHO.
