I recently found an 87 iroc in my classifieds for $1000. It has a 700R4, complete 350 tpi, 3.27 positrac disc brake rear-end,etc.It might even still have the iroc rims on it.....havent checked yet, but there could be a chance. Do you guys think this would be a good deal?

 

Heck, if the body isn't rusted out, and just a few minor issues, it's a hell of a deal.

Just to add a little more, around here the going rate for a used L98 with TPI and harness and the 700R4 attached is 1200+...the rear is worth 300-400, gotta be something else in there worth some thing too...

Heck, even if the body has faults, it'd be a good car to have if you wanted to convert a different car.

Yeah, that does sound like a good deal. Take it for a test drive, listen for unusual noises while driving, how the tranny shifts, that kind of stuff. If the body is in decent to good condition then I would say it definately a good deal.

 

I think it's a good deal. It would probably part out for that much. Plus you have a good platform to modify, unlike me who took an RS and had to upgrade the suspension, drivetrain, etc. Check it out and let us know.
