Water in door jamb
I've noticed that water always seems to puddle in the door jamb of my car when it rains or when I wash it. Is this normal? If not, what could be causing this and how can I fix it?
I also noticed that rust has eaten a rather large hole through the bottom of my door (most likely because of the water puddling there). How would I go about filling this hole in after removing the rust? Would I just have to buy new doors?

the water is getting in thru your door between the door and the window where they meet from the sounds of it and collecting in the bottom of your door and rusted it out ...
thats why you are getting a puddle of water in your door jamb not the other way around ...
