i just installed a set of headman headers and the y- pipe, minus the cats, Is there anyting to do with the smog pump? the dump box and injector tubes are gone.do i need to do anything else?

YES!!!! for the love of god get a heat sheild and starter wrap or header wrap......heat soak is a *****......i learned that the hard way

dont get header wrap. it voids warranties, and is known to be bad. a heat shield for your solenoid is a plus, of you could get a ford one. careful with your wires, spark plug/batter/whatever else

you can get wrap for those...or use aluminum foil
