is it worth it to upgrade to msd wires? is their a major difference between the 8mm and 8.5's?

thanks!

Is it that know one knows or is it becuase no one could reply due to little issues TGO has been having? Hmm, I'm not certain.

So get factory replacements from the store.

On a basically stock engine, or something close to it anyway, you won't notice any difference over just stock replacement wires.

I bought some MSD wires that are for the late 80s pickups, and they're a good fit with an HEI and headers. If you're looking for a set that's pre cut with 90deg boots.
Just something I thought I'd pass along.

The best wires to get if you have headers are for a '75-81 Z28 or a '75-82 Corvette. They both had the wires routed the same way you'd route them for headers, so they would be the right length for what you need.

EDIT - Don't go earlier than '74, because then you will be dealing with points distributors.

Hooraay!

When I got my MSD wires, I measured the resistance and they were so close to being on spec that I could tell the length of the wire by the resistance.
Ya gotta love the way a new set of plug wires smells when you open the box too, it smells like success.
