Coil and dist q,s need help...

for a 1989 trans am gta 5.7.It has been sitting for a while and today I started to work on it.I put in a new poly trans mount and cleaned the entire tb and installed new tb gaskets.I went to start it up and it has no spark at the coil.I checked all wiring and determined that the coil has no power.I pulled the cap and rotor and ignition module and found that the 2 prong wires at the back of the module .The connector was deteriorated and the wires were loose. On the module there is a P and an N in front of each prong. the wires that come from the dist are green and yellow.Which of these is positive and negitive.I can't find a new connector anywhere and I would like to get it running asap.I will buy a new ignition module tommorow and will try to solder the green and yellow wires in place. but I don't know which one goes to P or N Any help is greatly appreciated .Also is there a fuse or relay for the coil in case the new module does'nt work.. Thanks in advance........

Ok today I put in a new IM and it still wont fire. I have no spark at the coil .I traced all wires and they look good. all fuses are good.Could it be that when I jacked up the tranny to put in the new mount I pinched or cut a wire? I tried to reach behind the bell housing and I can't see- feel any loose wires.What else could have gone bad? The car ran good then I let it sit and now it has no spark..I had the IM tested and it was bad but what else could cause a no spark condition? ......Thanks in advance

There is a fusible link for the ignition power. There is also a connector for the fusible links along th efirewall to the right of the distributor. Dose the rest of the electrical system seem normal when you turn the ignition switch to RUN? Accessories work?

Does the car have VATS?

I've determined that it is not the vats.I pulled the column apart and the wires were intact.I jumpered the pos side of the coil to pos side of battery and the coil has power but will not fire.Everything seems to be good with all connections.I replaced the ignition module but the 2 prong connector was damaged .Now I have run the yellow wire to pos side of ig mod and green wire to neg side of ig mod from the pick up coil in distributer .I will pull the super coil off and have it tested.When I tried to start it the first time I left the coil wire off to prime the motor.Could it have ached out and shorted itself out?? I am at a wits end I have looked at everything for 2 days now.
Vats= good
all connectors and fuseable links=good
new Ig mod=good
cleaned cap-rotor=good
As of now the car will turn over with plenty of power but I cannot get a spark from the coil to cap??even when I put direct power to coil still no spark..??? Help please....
