No ACC, new ignition clyinder

I recently installed a new ignition cylinder and have no acc (where you turn the key backwards) i didnt work with my old cylinder but figuered it would with the new one. I sometimes get a beep but not for more then a secound, all my fuses are good. Any ideas?

Switch (on the top of the column, down low, near the firewall) needs adjustment.

The ignition switch itself is held onto the column by 2 screws that go through slots in the switch.

You need to loosen the 2 screws and move the switch and re-tighten the screws.

There is a rod that runs from your key cylinder down to a box on the outside of your column thats under your dash. Like RB says, loosen the box to adjust so that when key is in ACC posistion that the rod moves the correct selector on the box.
