New-TPS,Wires,plugs,CTS,Fuelpump/filter,entire distributor assembly, clean IAC, coil, clean TB,
what is causing my off idle bog? My Idle is perfect, car bogs just above it though unti around 2000rpm, don't know why,
Any suggestions? zzzz
Car passed emissions...is my cat clogged (it's only a year old). No Air connected.
I'm lost...
Fuel injector clean up? expensive? New IAC..getting tired...need new car...zzzz

What's the base timing set at? Should be 6* BTDC w/EST bypass line disconnected.
May want to unplug the MAF wire harness as see if it improves any.
Shouldn't be a cat issue, you'd still be sluggish as the RPMs increased.
Might be time to plug into it with a scan tool...any codes set?

MAF is a bosch unit only 18,000 miles old. No Codes set. Will swaping the MAF relays help? It feels like a lean condition just off idle or something like that.

might want to consider cleaning and flow matching the injectors. i think cruzin preformace cost 80 dollars, vader speaks highly of them.

timing. my car was the same way, i'd say there's a 90% chance its timing, if the other stuff you've checked is working

- 83 Z28--ttops, 200k miles--very ragged out. sold, thank goodness
- 74 Z28--slightly modded 383, TH400 tranny, not too quick but fun to drive
When I had the fuel pump/strainer/filter replaced, they checked the timing and it's fine. I have a feeling it's that ****en EGR valve or solenoid...the solenoid being the part that no one on this board seams to know anything about..lol.
