hey guys this is for a friend, hes gota 95 camaro he thought he was having a problem with a battery so he got a new one, upon getting home, he went to start the car and it woudlnt happen, full power to everything, I came over took a look at it, checked for connections on battery and it was fine, so i tried starting it a second time myself, and held the key there, you here the initial click...... and then about 3-4 seconds later it starts up, sometimes it starts up normally. anyone know the problem?

sounds like a broken bendix on the starter. I dont know if you can rebuild that part of it, but my suggestion is to just get a new starter.

Hope this helps you before the thread gets locked
