What happens if rockers are on too tight?

I am not sure if I have my rocker arms on too tight, I had to take 4 of them off to install my superram and I just put them back on to the recommened torque setting of 11lbs. I noticed they felt a little tighter than the others even though those all had 11lbs too. What will happen if they are too tight, and how do I tell? Thanks very much.

Well if they are on too tight you will either wear out the lobe on your cam or take out a lifter, bend a push rod. ect........but the way I adjust mine is pull off the valve cover start the car and one at a time loosen off the lock bolt till it starts ticking, then slowly tighten it up till it quits ticking, then go a 1\4 of a turn farther and they will be set.

your car will run real rough. 4 of your cylinders will be dead. When I loosen a couple of rockers I start the car and then I adjust them. I cut the top off of an old valve cover put it on so oil dosn't leak every were.
