Help with code 34

Ok i got a code 34 on the SES light which means:
34. Low voltage (high vacuum) at mass air flow sensor (or MAP sensor)

so how do i fix it and how much should it cost???

Transmission: 700R4
Go to the V6 forum, click on "search" in the upper right hand corner of the screen, then type in "code 34". You'll find my posting of the GM diagnostic chart up there, and also plenty of ways to fix it.

Your '88 2.8 uses the 3-wire "frequency film" MAF, not the hot-wire one. That's a v8 part.
