Is it worth it

Hey, Ive beening hearing nothing but good things about the 416 head casting andi was wondering is it worth it to buy a pair port them get them rebuilt and add some larger valves? What would you offer for a pair?

Are thye a good head? Can they take Larger Valves? Are they good flowing heads? im sorry for btohing you with all these questions but my dad isnt home and bother hi mwith most of these questions

I am running them on my motor and am very pleased. I paid about $350 all together for them and they are working very well with my combo. Also I paid someone to do the bowl work on them and assemble them because I didnt have time so if you have a good amount of time on your hands you produce good results for much less than what I spent. I am sure sitting bull will chime in soon and give you all the info you need.Good Luck.

Yes, yes, and yes. You can do a for 305 heads, 416 heads, porting 416 heads, porting 305 heads. You will find more info then you ever wanted.

I was going to use mine one my 383 build but i decided to go with an LS1 instead. I don't know if you will find any used, nobody wants to sell them. Mine are still brand new in the box.
