"fixed" loose torx bolts.... BUT

Now I'm having all kinds of other issues.

Obviously something in the ignition isn't right because the key won't start or shut off the car, but it turns so the radio will work (have remote start). With the remote start normall to kill it you press the brake, which no longer works.

Another thing too with the new test drive occasionally the headlight bulbs would shut off, and only the 3rd brake light is working!

please help, there is one part that didn't go back in the car as of yet because I didn't see where it goes and was planning to pull back apart since nothing ever works, but its this one...

Can someone shoot a suggestion my way. I knew the wiring would be a problem since it was near impossible to get the column cover off, but I think wiring is the lesser of 2 evils....

That part goes onto the key buzzer gadget that plugs in right after you put the lock cylinder in... The little clip attaches to the buzzer gadget and then you push the whole thing in. I wish I had a better description, but long story short: without it, the only thing that shouldn't work is the key buzzer.

thanks for the replies, got the wipers working, stupid me forgot to connect the harness. the brake kill switch for the remote start, ignition, and brake lights still don't work.

Alarm is a viper and I disconnected the battery. The alarm may be a possibility as to why it won't crank with the key?

thanks thanks thanks
