Can I use an adapter to fit a crank for a 2 piece rear main seal into.....

I'm building a 383 out of an '89 f-body block (1 piece rear main seal) but I am finding good deals on 2 piece 383 cranks. My question is, is there an adapter I can use to make this work (I think I heard that somewhere) and if so, is that way legit, or should I dish out the extra cash for a crank made for a 1 piece seal? Thanks.

Jegs has the adapter, but anything of that nature sounds more prone to leaking. Try to get a 1 piece if you could.
