Well I went to the track today for the first time since the car has been modified and I got slower times today than when It was stock. I even used Slicks and I got a best time of 14.23 at 96 mph- Stock I got a best time of 14.1 at 99 mph.- I did all the mods in my sig execpt the chip ( put the stock chip back in ). Also I think I messed up on the headers cause my car was smoking at the end of the track and it seemed like there was exaust coming out of my vents from my heater. Does this sound right. What do you guys think. Maybe i crossed something during the header install or what. Tell me what you guys think before I start working on it. Thanks

Hmm.. Maybe a plug wire burned up during the run because it was too close to the headers? That'll suck the life out of an engine.

As far as the exhaust in the passenger compartment, I'm not sure about that, but you should really get that fixed soon as dangerous as emissions can be.

I had that problem at first but than I rerouted the wires and put boots on them so its been fine ever since but Ill check that.

 

Weather? Too little air in the slicks? Poor alignment/gasket blocking exhaust port?
