Foglamp Mounts
Foglamp Mounts
I got aftermarket foglamps that are within an inch of the stock lamps. However, I can't understand how the GM stock one works. I did a custom job on the mount, but I'm not happy with it. It vibrates up and down because of the engine. I am looking for pics of the harness from diff angles, to see if I can make, or get my uncle to make a replica that will work with mine. Thanks in advance,
Jay

Dump the aftermarket foglamps and use factory ones! The factory mount is designed specifically for the factory lamps, so don't expect yours to work. Other than that, make entirely new mounts for your lamps.
I'm not planning on using the stock mounts. I just wanna know what they look like so I can make one for the lamps I got. The ones I got were $110 Canadian. And the GM ones are $385 Canadian. I just wanna know what the mount looks like from GM so I can make ones for these... that will work. My uncle own a steal mill, so It's easy to make them. Anyone know what they look like... can draw it, or have a pic?
Thanks,
Jay
