harmonic balancer is toastes
balancer is toasted guys, whats the cost of a decent repalcemtn and how do i install one?

Prices range from about 40 bucks to 400, suggest a stock replacement will be fine for you.
Appropriate was is to use a puller/installer, import set is pretty cheap to buy, most DAP's will rent one to you too. If they don't have instruction with them, just repost...if you do it correctly you'll still have threads left in the crank, if you don't, then you'll be tapping oversize.
Not sure of clearance issues, may need to remove some things to get at it.

bought one for $50 5 minutes ago, droped it off at a shop and they are charging me $80. i have got to be at work at 12PM didn't have enought time todo it myself.

yeah but i think of all the scrapes and bruises i'll have when i get done and goto work.Plus the amount of time yelling da*mn sh*t *ss motherf*cker at the darn car. This is my consideration.

-scratches head- if you dropped it off at a shop then you didnt need to buy the puller. My suggestion.... clean off the tools after it gets done and return them. Think of it as "tool rental"
