uncommanded spin-out while accelerating/changing lanes
this is not "third gen" related, but need help. if it's not allowed, then just delete it and write me a warning...
i'm asking this question concerning my brother's 2004 silverado truck. i don't know what engine, etc. he has in it, but now on two occasions, he has been put into an uncommanded "spin-out". he was driving along, and next thing he knew, he was doing a couple of 360's in the middle of traffic. luckily neither time caused any accidents or injuries, but obviously the potential is there. i'm not going to get into the red tape of warranty, lemon, etc., just trying to find out what could possibly cause this. he has gotten zero assistance and/or satisfaction from chevrolet and as i said, we would like to know what ever in the world could cause such a thing. once it comes to a complete stop, he can drive off into the sunset like nothing ever happened. he said that it occured when he accelerated and changed lanes simutaneously. i don't know much about the newer vehicles, maybe some gm techs on this board know, but i would appreciate any help anyone can offer. thanks...
