Check the tranny fluid. Check the linkage.

If it is good, get a gas can and a match, or find a nearby cliff to roll your car off, cause your tranny is fried.

Oh, sorry. I'll save that comment for a future post, when your 700r-4 really does kick the bucket.

lol its not the trnany you dummy,
Why do you start a stupid thread, with absolutely no chance of accomplishing anything, and then call someone a dummy? This is the third time you have called someone a name when you started a stupid thread. I hope you get put on probation for it. What the hell is wrong with you?

Shane, I will give you a cookie if you can make one thread without a spelling error.

I will give you 2 cookies if you can go an entire 24 hours without posting some bull**** stupid thread that is becoming annoyingly reduntant.

I will give you a package of cookies if you actually fix one of your own problems without making one of these bull**** stupid threads that is becoming annoyingly redundant.

Want a cookie?

will it rev higher if you work the throttle from under the hood. (ie check the linkage)

Is it cutting out at high revs?

Does a clogged fuel filter appear to be a possibility?

A more detailed description might help.

replace your fuel filter, or one of your injectors might be clogged.

oh and also check your tranny fluid anyways.

the pump was replaced a month ago, i've onyl ran it out of gas once and that was a long long time ago....

fuel pump could be a possibility...

It stumbles thought the entire RPM rang. I mean once i hit the gas it seems, to like stip below then come back, but the RPMs climb very slowly, ill get a vid of it with my digital camera, however i have no sound with it, its very slow....

ok i got a vid but nowhere to host it, anyone got an idea?

But now that i went out there again, the car seems to be doing better, what could be the problem now it revs to 5k, and it'll get to 5600 but it takes a long but time....

ok you just posted 3 times to say the exact same thing, quit doing it.

you could of said all the in 1 post, or even edited it.

check your fuel filter, if your car is actually running its not your fuel pump. if the pump was fried your car wouldn't even start.

replace the fuel filter, it takes maybe 45 minutes and costs 10 bucks. go do it and then come back and post

As much as I don't want to, I will try to help you. It smells rich, so it is not the fuel pump because the pump can run all the time with no ill-effects. Check to see if your MAF is unplugged, check to see if your 02 is unplugged, check to see the connections on your computer are OK, unplug the cold start injector, make sure there is no air in your lines by purging it with the key in the on position and pressing that bicycle like valve on your fuel rail, but look out cause it will blow gas all over the place, so do it when its cold.

One of those is probably the problem.

it could be the coil, cap and rotor, hell it could be anything, we;ve just given you a bunch of good places to start looking. go and check them, then come and ask questions

well i check the MAF, its connected, i remmebrr one day i disconnected it, and it completely wouldn't start so thats not the major problem.... but....

i check oxygen sensors and its ok, computer still says its running lean but iunno....

I'll wait a while to perge the valve, while the motor cools down...

But air in ths system seems logical. Because i had the tank pretty much on empty and that would explain why it was sooo choppy..... iunno, i need a cap and rotor plus a fuel filter soon....

Thanks guys, i'll keep ya posted....

you checked the 02 sensor?

you need a voltmeter to do that

Do you still have a cat? When was the last time you changed the fuel filter? Did you monkey with anything right before this happened?

hey guys i herd a noiz on hte way to werk sounded like my tyre rubing what could it bee?

guys new problum when i hit the gas hardd at 7000 it spins the reer tire like a burnowt is it supposed to dodat?

guys sumone offerd me big bugs for my carr today. said she neva saw a nicer carr in her, life. i told here it not fer sale cuz its my baby.

Thanx guys. yew rockk!

Hmmm. read books, buy tools, stop talking about buying parts and buy them already. You could have a faulty pump but it sounds like the fuel filter is clogging up. Try replacing it (when the exhaust is cooled off). Do a search to find out how...

Wow... another day another problem. First off no need to spin the car that high.

Its one of two things. Fuel or spark... you check fuel pressure?

Is it cutting out at high RPMS or just not getting there?
