Piston's....

Hey guys which Piston's would yall recommend for a 383 stroker...I havent really decided what Kind-of Compression I want But I will have a Turbo Slapped on it soon enough..... But if yall could just kinda Point me in the Right Direction I would Really Appreciate it......And I dont have any other Component's on the car...I was kinda just wanting to build it from the Lower end Up, And I figure Pistons are a Good place to start.... Thanks Blake...

Personally I would go with either JE blower pistons or the SRP's. I have the SRP pistons in my 383 and sooner or later mine will have a blower on it. I would try to stay around 10:1 compression depending on how much boost you plan on having.

Well - you're better off deciding what heads you want to run first. Then match up what pistons you'll need for the compression you want to run. And for the money you'll spend on pistons for a boosted car (forged), you'll want to do plenty of research...

i agree with confuzed, you should start with the induction system and plan around that not the other way around.

might wanna find out what compression the turbo manufacturer recomends. Not sure about this myself but if your building for a turbo you might have to build your motor around it so to speak.
