I posted before that I was changing my column well I got that done then I had problems getting the intermediate shaft installed . the problem was that the year of column I bought was an 86 and the z28 I have is an 82 . So I had to go back and get a shaft that fit . so while I was doing that I grabbed the neutral lock out cable from the 86 z28 since I knew already that my 82 cable didn't match the newer Column so now I'm once again stock kinda sorta. the new cable works every where but at the Auto shifter. I am the only person that has done this swap with these problems: confused: if not is there any steps I should look at when installing the cable to the shifter?
