TPI Swap Wont Start

So my TPI swap won't start and i'm getting no spark. I tried using my timing light as i was cranking to check for spark then i pulled the wire and tried to arc it to the valve cover, i've been hit with that 50000 volts before and it wasn't there this time. Is there a better way to check for spark ?? I also am no getting any power to the 4 pin connector from the ECM to the Distributor, i do have the main 12 volt source to the ECM showing power, the distributor was 180* out before so that can't be a problem anymore. The coil is brand new, how do i check the module in the CC distributor ?? Thanks guys

Ignition switch feeds 12 volts on the pink/black wire to the ECM, ESC, coil, and distributor. Power is at the 2-pin connector of the distrubutor not the 4-pin which sends/receives signals from the ECM.

Autoparts store will check the module. I carry a spare igntion module and the tools to replace it. older cars means old connectors that get brittle and break at the release tabs and back-out with vibration, might want to check for that.

You need 12 volts at the pink/black before you can test for spark.
Quick check for spark: Put a screwdriver into the end of the sparkplug, or coil wire and hold the end of the wire close to ground while cranking. You should use a spark tester because it can be adjusted for the correct spark gap, and it doesn't cost much.

The distributor doesn't need to be timed correctly for it to produce a spark.
Don't assume it will work because it's new, take it back and have it tested if it doesn't do what you expected, or tested yourself if you have the equipment and test procedures.
