I was wondering if you are able to tell if timing is off when the car not running, this is prolly a really stupid question, but if you dont ask you'll never know. well anyways i found the white line and the timing notches, but the white line is pointed way to the right almost directly towards the driver side wheel well. but thats when she isnt running. once again sorry if this is a stupid question, in advance. thanks

 

where the marks are with the engine off is meaningless unless you brought #1 to TDC on the compression stroke
