are these good heads for my motor???
I have a 30 400 sbc with flat top pistons and 10:1 compression, I have a rpm air gap intake, a crane 224/234 duration at .050 with 465/488 lift and 114 lsa. I have a 750dp holley, a th350 trans and 2600 stall. will these heads be a good addition to my motor? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...sPageName=WDVW

I'd look for something with a bigger runner and bigger vavles, to take advantage of the 400cid's.
How about these: http://www.webpages.uidaho.edu/~osie4078/proheads.htm

I would love to have those heads but I can't afford them, the heads on ebay are only like 280 dollars.

Well I looked at the pic and read the specs and it dosen1t match up, it says there 72CC chambers well in the pic they look ahell of lot smaller then 72cc they look more like 62cc, they look smaller then my 64 CC bowtie heads, and the specs say 1.94 intakes and those look like 2.02`s to me
and it also said they flow 210 cfm`s at .500" well one of the worst small block Chevy heads the 882`s flow like 200 or 205 CFM`s and the L98`s flow 199 so there flow kinda sucks, so if it was me I`d stay away from them. and your cams LSA is to big, carbs like 110 not 114 your LSA is more for a F.I engine, if I was you I`d look into a cam, and stick with the heads you have unless you have the 882`s they`re just junk, everything else looks good in your combo I`d just go with a bigger cam with a tighter LSA but don`t go below 110

The Dart SS heads are stock replacement heads, pass on them. 165 cc runners, 1.94/1.50" valves 72cc chambers.
