starter question
are the manual trans and auto trans starters on 305 v-8s the same?i'm putting t-5 manual back in my car and i don't have the stater that went to the trans but i have 4 auto staters.

I just picked up a new starter at lunchtime. They had different listings for AT and MT, although other than the p/n's, I don't know what's different between the two.
However, they also had a different AC Delco # for L69 and LG4, so...
