Installation of new camshaft; harder than it looks?
Installation of new camshaft; harder than it looks?
I think I want to invest in a new camshaft for my 92 RS. Now, since I'm running NOS I was going to get the Comp cams Nitrous HP cam, supposedly tweaked for nitrous use.
The lift is .447 / .464 and I was going to spend 240 for the actual camshaft, lifters, timing chain set. What else will I need to do in order to get this to work right, and how much of a power increase will I see?

i'd change the valve springs and use afermarket retainers, plus use umbrella type seals. you'll need a gasket set too. i'd go with a roller timing chain. if the cam isn't a roller you'll need differant push rods. i'd degree the new cam to make sure it was ground right.
