82 Z28 Oil Pressure Guage ??'s

The oil pressure gauge on the 82 Z28 was was working fine while driving. Stopped for a bit, restarted, no oil pressure. Towed the car to get it checked, had 45 psi of oil pressure, but guage read 0. I replaced the sending unit with the 60 psi unit and still had 0 psi at the guage. I drove the car awhile, hit a bump in the road, and the gauge started working again. It's not working now (again), but don't know where to look. I removed the gauge cluster and couldn't really tell if anything could be wrong. It sound like I have a loose connection somewhere, but where? All other gauges are working correctly. Where should I start looking for this? I also found out that the guage is part of the Tach assembly. Thanks for your help.

i'd guess you have a bad ground somewhere. if it were me i'd replace it and the other gauges with a set of auto meter mechanical gauges.
