EGR problem? AIR line....

I POSTED ALREADY IN EXHAUST FORUM:

I recently transported my 91 RS Camaro to GA. My AIR line (exiting the catalytic converter and returning towards the engine) was crushed during unloading of the car. Because of this, i cut out the line of the crushed part and havent been able to get the time to get some rubber hose to replace the section I cut out.

Under heavy load or moderate acceleration, rpms normally as they should, but I do not have the power I had before, as if it were weezing....my intake is clean, air filter is fine...what could it be...

Im positive it has something to do with the AIR (GA is a no smog law state...so I may remove all the EGR equip along with the catalytic converter). I may not do this though so I am lookin for any viable causes why my car is actin a fool.

Im thinking that something either got in the hoses via suction...does it work as a vacuum and it has been compromised? or does it just recirculate some gases?
